Profile Neuropsychology is a private practice providing neuropsychological assessment and treatment for English-speakers in Paris. Caitlin Dawes is the Clinical Neuropsychologist behind Profile Neuropsychology.
Services provided include the assessment and treatment of cognitive difficulties in adults. Cognitive difficulties might include new or worsening symptoms of poor memory, reduced attention, slowed thinking, difficulty naming things or understanding others, and problems making decisions or reasoning through problems.
Caitlin assesses and treats adults with cognitive difficulties associated with the following conditions:
- Traumatic brain injury
- Neurological diseases
- Psychiatric difficulties
- Neurodegenerative diseases (such as dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease)
In conducting a neuropsychological assessment, Caitlin examines a wide range of cognitive abilities to determine strengths and weaknesses in brain function, assist with diagnosis, and make recommendations for the future.
In her approach to treatment, Caitlin uses cognitive remediation and psychological therapy to help clients cope with cognitive changes and make healthy adjustments to the way they do things.
